I usually felt stronger and more energised at the end of each session than at the start, having learnt a lot while having fun. What more can you ask? Yes, I would definitely recommend the program to others.

Very positive. Yes I would recommend the program to others. It was five weeks of quite intense (at times) training and no-one got hurt or injured because there was care, attention, planning and thought put into how the sessions ran.

Kiwi has a lovely personal style and made sure at the beginning of each session we understood what the focus would be. We were also encouraged to have input on what each session would focus on, right from the start of the course. Kiwi was open to us asking questions and provided practical solutions. Plus she is fun and the sessions were a good laugh.

How is the balance in the sessions between good humour and technical advice:

Worked 100 % for me



Good balance, no improvements needed.



I thought the balance was great. Appropriate levels of fun and learning. We didn't really know any of the other participants well at the start, and finished feeling like we'd made friends with everyone.



Absolutely perfect balance - learned a lot and had a lot of fun too, the feeling with the other players was fantastic.



From the Masters Sessions, what was your takeaway:

I liked the tackling with the bump pads. It's hard to train for that type of pressure by yourself so I found it valuable. I also found the emphasis on warm up and cool down really useful. It's so easy to rush through that part of training, and I took away some new stretching techniques which I'm now using regularly.

The sessions were really well balanced, I felt I had enough from each area to go away and work on.



After your Masters Sessions, do you feel more confident playing the game now:

Feel more confident but long way to go



Only one match so far, but feel like I had a better pre-season with the additional, specific training



Mostly into club training, as have only played one match but sessions definitely helped with confidence in that match.



Yes I have - particularly in focussing improving my kicking. Taking air out of my kicks, making them firmer and more direct, and adjusting better for the natural swing of my leg across my body.



Yes, and it’s helped give me some simple tips to share with other players too



Still a work in progress but have definitely felt a lot more confident in round one
